Azumi was born into a humble Doman family just a few months before the Imperial invasion. When the conflict inevitably reached her home, her mother escaped, holding Azumi close as her father fought and died to protect them. After running for hours, her mother collapsed and succumbed to her passive injuries, leaving Azumi alone on the beach of the Ruby Sea.A few hours later, a Blue Kojin returning from gathering materials nearby chances upon the mother and child. Knowing Azumi would otherwise be left as easy pickings for the surrounding wildlife, he gave her the Blue Kojin's blessing and swiftly took her into the care of those in Sui-No-Sato, knowing she would be kept safe in their underwater sanctuary.She was adopted by the locals almost immediately and treated as one of their own, ensuring to shield her from any further bloodshed from the Garlean occupation. As the Imperials never ended up finding Sui-No-Sato, she was free to live a peaceful, albeit secluded, life where she would become an avid bookworm. She grew to enjoy making the most of her aquatic respiration blessing by spending long hours outside the dome in the ocean in relaxation and isolation, and becoming a skilled swimmer in the process.Present Day:
Azumi has since sought new horizons in the world and has adventured to the continent of Eorzea, where she has met the love of her life, settled down in a modest house in Ishgard, and works as head chef at the Atlas Restaurant. She managed to get her Studium application accepted, and is now studying advanced aetherology and the ways of the Sage in Old Sharlayan. She was recently made aware of her distant draconic heritage, being descended from one of Ratatoskr's offspring, and has since strived to bring pride to dragonkind, often making company with other dragons and practicing her newly-awoken ice-attuned elemental power.

She is always looking for more people like her.-The Underwater Sanctuary: Being taken in to Sui-no-Sato at such a young age and spending almost her entire life there has made her a common sight among the village's residents. She has over 20 years of experience under her belt, and may take on your job for the right cause!
